• This is a critical alert about the WNV -- August 6, 2006.
  • At this point in time the mosquito populations are beginning to hit their peak. There is about one generation of larval development left in the seasonal cycle. Every little bit of effort that conscientious citizens make at this time to inspect their property and neighborhoods for the standing, mismanaged water that serves as the site for mosquito larvae to develop is one more positive intervention to abate the problem and the spraying that would ensue from the SYMVCD.
  • None of us has the right to produce a mosquito nuisance that might affect the health of our neighbors.
  • This is a critical time to put in that extra effort to make sure to rid our yards and neighborhoods of potential breeding sites.
